PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vital sensor module that improves user convenience while improving reliability by reducing dispersion of measurement data depending on a subject's fitting state, and an operation method for the vital sensor module.SOLUTION: A vital sensor module 2 comprises: a base plate 20; a light emitting element 12 arranged on a surface of the base plate 20; light receiving elements 14, 14, 14, 14arranged on the surface of the base plate 20 so as to be separated from the light emitting element 12; and thermistors 16, 16, 16, 16arranged on the surface of the base plate 20 so as to be separated from the light emitting element 12 and the light receiving elements 14, 14, 14, 14. The vital sensor module, when being made to be in contact with a body surface of a living body, can clearly indicate information on a state of contact with the body surface on the basis of sensor output values detected by the thermistors 16, 16, 16, 16in contact with the body surface while the light receiving elements 14, 14, 14, 14receiving reflection light, which is light emitted from the light emitting element 12 before being reflected by the body surface and returned, to detect strength of the reflection light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
