PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a printer where it is easy to cut-off a continuous sheet along perforations.SOLUTION: A printer 1 has a cutting auxiliary member 7 for cutting-off a continuous sheet P along perforations P2 of the continuous sheet P. The cutting auxiliary member 7 comprises a contact surface capable of being brought into contact with the perforations P2 of the continuous sheet P transported to a cutting position B set beforehand. The contact surface is a protrusion-like curved surface 87a. When the continuous sheet P transported to the cutting position B is cut, the continuous sheet P can be pulled while bringing the perforations P2 of the continuous sheet P into contact with the contact surface (curved surface 87a) of the cutting auxiliary member 7. Accordingly, force shearing the perforations P2 can be imparted to a portion of the perforations P2 of the continuous sheet P from the contact surface. Further, the contact surface is the curved surface 87a, and, accordingly, the continuous sheet P is prevented from being cut by the contact surface. Still further, the contact surface is the curved surface 87a, and, accordingly, the perforations P2 of the continuous sheet P can be bought into contact with the contact surface even when the continuous sheet P is deviated from the cutting position B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
