PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet device capable of restricting damage applied by inorganic substances to a region where a nozzle group is disposed on a nozzle opening surface, and change of a surface state, when wiping the nozzle opening surface with wiping parts.SOLUTION: An inkjet type printer includes: a liquid jet head 19 that has a nozzle plate 32 on which five nozzle groups constituted of multiple nozzles 30 arrayed in a front-rear direction are arranged at an interval in a right-left direction, and that is capable of jetting ink of different colors for each of the first to fifth nozzle groups 31A-31E, as ink droplets; a first electrode 41 and a second electrode 42 that are disposed so as to be adjacent to the liquid jet head in the right-left direction, and that can electrostatically attract mist generated accompanying jetting of the ink droplets from the nozzles; and wipers 25 capable of wiping a nozzle opening surface 32a of the nozzle plate. Ink containing inorganic pigment is jetted from the first and fifth nozzle groups that are disposed at the closest positions to the first electrode and the second electrode among the five nozzle groups.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
