The invention pertains to the field of technology for measuring magnetic fields using magnetostrictive and optic-fibre properties of materials in power transmission and distribution systems conditioned by the currents passing through them. The purpose of the invention is to increase the sensitivity of the device when registering low-density magnetic fields. The device (Fig. 1) for the registration of low-density magnetic fields contains a magnetic field sensor 1, a differential amplifier 2, a power supply unit 3, an electronic key 4, a sound alarm unit 5, an impulse generator 6 and a loudspeaker 7. The sensor 1 contains a piezoelectric cylinder 8, which provides the acceleration of the inertial element 9 required for the operation of the device when sinusoidal voltage is applied to it (the source is not shown in the diagram), optical fibers 10 and 11, LEDs 12 and 13, photodetectors 14 and 15. Sensor 1 is used as the sensitive element of the magnetic field resulting in electrical installations under the influence of low currents. It is a Mach-Zehnder fibre interferometer. The invention increases the sensitivity of the device for the registration of low-density magnetic fields caused by, for example, leakage currents and capacitive current, and thus allows the improvement of the maintenance of electrical equipment and the reduction of electrical injuries. |
