COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR MEASURING ANIONIC POLYMER CONCENTRATION IN INDUSTRIAL WATER SYSTEM AND USE OF THE COMPOSITION

A composition for detecting anionic polymers in industrial water, wherein the composition comprises a combination of anionic dye and cationic surfactant; and a method for detecting anionic polymers in industrial water. Compared to the cationic dyes approach, the disclosed composition and method enables reduction of background interference from conductivity, resulting in accurate measurements.
