<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pigment compound having excellent spectral characteristics with sharp absorption, high heat and moisture resistance, high light resistance, and high solubility, a coloring composition containing the pigment compound, an ink sheet for thermal transfer recording containing the pigment compound, and a thermal transfer recording method, and to provide a color toner, an inkjet ink, and a color filter with high transmittance using the pigment compound. <P>SOLUTION: The pigment compound is represented by the general formula, wherein R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>, and R<SP>3</SP>independently represent a hydrogen atom or a monovalent substituent; and R<SP>4</SP>represents a substituted or unsubstituted 1-8C alkyl group. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
