PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for providing a connection between at least two electrical cables, and a device for providing an insulated cable connection part.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method for providing a connection between at least two electrical cables, and a device for providing an insulated cable connection part. The method includes the steps of: removing an insulator at a free end of the electrical cables; arranging uninsulated cable strands; connecting the uninsulated cable strands by welding, soldering and/or crimping; providing a sensor formed to sense at least one of the two proximal end positions of the cable connection; aligning the cable connection part relative to the sensor such that the two proximal end positions of the cable connection part are in a predetermined position; and insulating the cable connection part with an insulating member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
