PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device that can stabilize travel of an endless belt-like body and reduce the generation of paper wrinkles, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A fixing device 36 comprises: a pressure part 76 that is provided opposite to a heating part 66, and includes an endless belt-like body 72 that is driven by the rotation of the heating part 66 to travel and a holding body 118 that holds the endless belt-like body 72 while allowing the endless belt-like body to freely travel; and an upstream-side adjustment part 150 that is provided on the upstream side 68 in a direction of rotation of the endless belt-like body 72, has a center part 156 in the longitudinal direction raised most compared with other parts, and has a curved surface shape curved downward from the center part 156 toward both ends 160 and 162.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
