PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock for hinged door, which can be implemented by installation on the surface of a recent, commonly used frame body without embedding of a strike plate in the frame body, allowing for use in an unlocked state with a dead bolt immersed in a lock case, and allowing for an unlocking operation from an indoor or outdoor side without a specific operation in emergency, and without installation of an emergency unlocking device.SOLUTION: A lock for hinged door includes: a box-shaped lock case 3 fitted in a door; a slider 4 which is arranged in the lock case 3 and movable back and forth in a longitudinal direction over a predetermined distance; a lock hub 9 which is arranged at the lock case 3 and engages the slider 4 so as to move the slider 4 back and forth; and a dead bolt 6 which is integrally fitted in front of the slider 4, in a state movable back and forth in a longitudinal direction over a predetermined distance, and in a state projecting at a predetermined distance by being biased in a tip direction with a resilient member 5. The dead bolt 6 has a locking part 61 at a tip, which is fitted in and engaged with an engaging part formed in a strike plate 8 of the lock hub 9 arranged on a surface opposite to a fixing frame 7 to which a door 2 having a rectangular shape in a plan view is fixed. |
