<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely enforce starting at a second stage or the succeeding stage in multi-stage starting of an occupant crash protection device. <P>SOLUTION: This occupant crash protection control device includes a collision determination means for performing a collision determination corresponding to each stage based on an output signal of a first acceleration detection means, a safing determination means for performing a safing determination based on an output signal of a second acceleration detection means, a safing determination holding means for holding a the safing determination result in the safing determination means, and a starting instruction means for instructing starting of the occupant crash protection device corresponding to the first stage on condition that both of the collision determination result corresponding to the first stage in the collision determination means and the safing determination result being held in the safing determination holding means are results indicating the presence of a collision and instructing starting of the occupant crash protection device corresponding to the present stage on condition that the collision determination result corresponding to the present stage in the collision determination means is a result indicating the presence of a collision and a starting instruction of the occupant crash protection device corresponding to a previous stage is finished at the second stage or the succeeding stage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
