The objective of the invention is to calculate the position of a vehicle on a road with increased accuracy. A vehicle-mounted navigation device 1 is provided with a control unit 10 which acquires captured image data obtained by capturing images outside a vehicle. If the captured image data include target image data, which are image data of a road sign, the control unit 10 calculates a relative position of the vehicle relative to the road sign, on the basis of the target image data, and detects the position of the vehicle on the road on the basis of the calculated relative position. |
