A communication device is provided with: a reception unit which receives a plurality of measurement packets among a plurality of measurement packets respectively having consecutive numbers and scheduled to be received; an extraction unit which extracts an effective packet group including a plurality of measurement packets having consecutive numbers from among the received plurality of measurement packets; and a calculation unit which calculates an available band using the extracted effective packet group.
