A refrigeration cycle device has: a refrigeration circuit comprising a compressor having a compressor motor, a use-side heat exchanger, a pressure reducing device, and a heat-source-side heat exchanger which are sequentially connected with refrigeration piping; a fan provided together with at least one of the use-side heat exchanger and the heat-source-side heat exchanger and having a fan motor; a relay unit connected through a DC circuit breaker to a DC power supply device; a resistor unit connected in parallel with the relay unit; a DC/AC converter for converting DC voltage supplied from the DC power supply device via the relay unit or the resistor unit, to AC voltage which is supplied to at least one of the compressor motor and the fan motor; and an open/close control unit for, when the DC circuit breaker is brought into an open state, bringing the relay unit into an open state. The refrigeration cycle device suppresses rush current when the DC circuit breaker is brought into a closed state from the open state.
