The invention relates to a rotor assembly for a turbine engine, which includes: a solid permanent magnet (6) mounted with a tight fit inside a band (4) made of non-magnetic material; a first shaft (2) having at least one bearing (12) intended for engaging with a supporting bearing so as to form a gas bearing and to guide the first shaft (2) in rotation, the band (4) forming an integral assembly with the first shaft (2) in the extension thereof; and a second shaft (8), having at least one bearing (14) intended for engaging with a supporting bearing in order to form a gas bearing and to guide the second shaft (8) in rotation, extends from the band (4) on the side opposite the first shaft (2), coaxially with the first shaft (2) so that the first shaft (2), the band (4) and the second shaft (8) form an integral assembly. The invention also relates to a turbine engine with such a rotor assembly.
