PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selective catalyst reduction device where urea water injected through a urea water injector into exhaust gas is sufficiently hydrolyzed before reaching a SCR catalyst, capable of suppressing a reduction of an exhaust gas purifying rate per urea water injection amount or the occurrence of defects in the SCR catalyst due to urea water fastened to the SCR catalyst.SOLUTION: A selective catalyst reduction device 100 injects urea water into exhaust gas exhausted from an internal combustion engine 101 and hydrolyzes the urea water in the exhaust gas to generate ammonia, and uses a SCR catalyst 103 for occluding the ammonia to reduce nitrogen oxide included in the exhaust gas to be harmless. The selective catalyst reduction device 100 includes a sub chamber 126 installed on the exhaust upstream side of the SCR catalyst 103 for sufficiently hydrolyzing the urea water injected into the exhaust gas before flowing into the SCR catalyst 103.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
