PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter including a tube main body for improving the fixing force of a fixing portion to fix an inner layer and the distal end of a reinforcement body without deteriorating production efficiency and product quality, and also to provide a catheter manufacturing method.SOLUTION: A tube body 100 includes: an inner layer 110 made of a resin material; reinforcement bodies 120 arranged on the outer front surface of the inner layer; an outer layer 130 made of a resin material and arranged to cover the outer front surface of the inner layer and the outer front surface of each reinforcement body; and fixing portions 140 constituted by joint materials 140a for fixing the reinforcement bodies and the inner layer. Each joint material is made of a material different from those of the inner layer and the outer layer. Each fixing portion is arranged only at the end of the reinforcement body in the axial direction and covers at least a part of a distal end 123 of the reinforcement body over the whole circumference in the circumferential direction of the inner layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
