<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely move a care-receiver in a standing posture on a carrier, to a location such as a toilet or a bathtub by a single care-giver without falling. <P>SOLUTION: This carrier is provided with a carrier body 1 formed by disposing casters 4 for allowing the care-receiver P to stand up and move, and a reclining body 2 that has an operation handle 6d for the care-giver, disposed at the front part of the carrier body 1 tiltably in the front/rear direction via a support part 3 and being operated by the care-giver, and a handrail 6d for the care-receiver configured to be held by the care-receiver with the hands, respectively. The reclining body 2 can retain the care-receiver P at a predetermined forward tilt position, when the care-receiver P holds the handrail 6c for the care-receiver and bends forward. The reclining body 2 has an elbow rest 5 for the care-receiver P and care-receiver falling prevention guards 6a. The carrier is further provided with extensible arms 7 capable of retaining the reclining body 2 at predetermined tilt positions in the front/rear directions and retaining the contracted and extended states. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
