RECONDITIONING PROCESS FOR USED HYDROCARBON BASED STIMULATION FLUID

A process treats a fluid stream of used fracturing fluid containing contaminants and forms a reconditioned fluid stream. The reconditioned fluid is substantially non-volatile as a result of distillation. Particulates are removed by filtration. The filtered fluid stream is particularly suitable for treatment in a clay tower to remove residual contaminants.
