In the weaving machine mounted with a jacquard or dobby unit, the device is installed with a weft insertion unit having an electronic circuit instead of a shuttle and being operated by means of variance-type air-jet using a driving controller of solenoid air valve which is unrelated with varying rotation speed. The device consists of a shuttle (1), a picker (4), a feeder (8) and a picking unit composed of a rotary shaft (17), cam (18) and connecting rod (19).
