PURPOSE:To stably recover the exhaust heat from a fuel cell by continuously and stably supplying the battery cooling water of the fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:A power generating system is provided with a battery cooling water supply quantity control valve 12 for controlling the supply water quantity on a fuel cell cooling water supply pipe 9 and a power generation current detecting means 30 for measuring the power generation current of a fuel cell. A controller 32 calculates the steam quantity required for the fuel reform to feed hydrogen to a fuel cell stack 3 and controls the battery cooling water supply quantity control valve 12 to supply the fuel cell cooling water corresponding to the fuel reforming steam quantity. The battery cooling water is continuously and stably supplied. When the battery cooling water is continuously supplied, the temperature or pressure of the battery cooling water is kept constant, the reduction of the power generation efficiency and the sintering of a catalyst are prevented, and the exhaust heat is stably recovered. |
