<p>This invention relates to chemical technology of polymers and can be used in producing high-quality granulated pigment-dyes for polymers, e.g., polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride etc. that could be used to obtain films, pipes, packages, automobile parts etc. The known method for obtaining granulated pigment-dyes for polymers comprises steps of mixing an aqueous pigment mass with polymer material in a twin-screw extruder, forming granules of pigment-dyes and separation of granules from water. According this invention the polymer material that could be mixed with the pigment is used in form of polymer wax having melting point lower 100 oC, the mixing step in twin-screw extruder is performed at a temperature lower than 100 oC, the granules are obtained directly in the extruder by adding water which temperature is not higher 20 oC, and the separation step is carried out by decantation and subsequent drying.</p> |
