The adsorption drier for gaseous media incorporates one or several parallel adsorption chambers (1, 2) which, in particular, is/are switchable between adsorption and regeneration modes of operation, and a blower (6). Through the adsorption chamber(s) to be regenerated, this blower at a first stage of regeneration sucks a fresh gaseous medium heated in a heater (5), while at a second stage of regeneration it sucks a fresh cool gaseous medium. At the pressure side of the blower there is a bypass (11) leading to the heater. This bypass serves for mixing a branched off part of the heated gaseous medium with the fresh gaseous medium yet to be heated in the heater. |
