PURPOSE: A circuit and method to select frequency is provided to improve performance and compatibility of an electronic power breaker. CONSTITUTION: Disclosed is a circuit to select frequency within an electronic power breaker having a microprocessor. The circuit comprises an alarm mode selector(100) and a frequency selector(200). The alarm mode selector(100) selects an output type of alarm signal which is transmitted to an input port of the microprocessor. The frequency selector(200) selects power frequency which is transmitted to the other input port of the microprocessor. Thereby, the sampling frequency and alarm signal can be adjusted, so that performance and compatibility of an electronic power breaker can be improved.
