TORQUE CONVERTER FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PURPOSE: A torque converter is provided to quickly perform the gear transmission while a vehicle is traveling by rapidly changing a torque while operating the torque converter. CONSTITUTION: The torque converter for an automatic transmission has:a gear chamber(11) made up of a main gear chamber(111) having a fluid chamber(111a) in its inside and a first and a second auxiliary gear chamber(112, 113) on the both sides of the main gear chamber(111); a main gear(12) connected to an output shaft(51) of an engine(5) and inserting a spool(21) into its inside; a first and a second auxiliary gear(13, 14) respectively installed on both sides of the main gear(12); a fluid control piece(2) installed inside of the main gear(12) constituting a rotary housing(1); and a connecting shaft(31) having a fluid inlet(311) and a fluid outlet(312).
