TREATING AGENT FOR PROTEIN FIBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent capable of imparting excellent water- and oil-repellency to a protein fiber product. SOLUTION: This treating agent for the protein fiber comprises (1) a fluorine- containing chemical containing (a) a fluorine-containing ionic material which is a fluorine-containing anionic or fluorine-containing cationic material, and (2) a nonfluorinated ionic material containing (b) a nonfluorinated ionic material which is a nonfluorinated anionic or nonfluorinated cationic material, and is regulated so that the fluorine-containing ionic material (a) and the nonfluorinated ionic material (b) may have ionicities opposite to each other.
