<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wallpaper display method for displaying a moving image in an arbitrary size in an arbitrary background area as a wallpaper on the screen of a computer without putting stress to a user. <P>SOLUTION: A computer operation screen 1 is made to display a color key monochromatic background 2 by filling in a background part with a single color key. In a specified rectangular area in the computer operation screen 1, for pixels of which color matches the color of the color key, contrast, brightness and the like of a moving image frame 4 which should be displayed currently are processed by an image control part so that the user does not feel stressed before being overwritten.
