<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep deterioration of a torque transmission part to a minimum, and maintain smooth sliding while performing high torque transmission. <P>SOLUTION: Surface hardening treatment is applied to the race surface (inner side) of a female shaft 2 to form a hardened case Ha. The surface hardness is not less than Hv400. The thickness of the hardened case Ha is 10 to 100 μm, and a gas nitrocarburizing treatment, for example, is performed as the method for the surface hardening treatment. The surface hardening treatment by heat treatment is also applied to the surface of a cylindrical body 8 to form the hardened case Hb.
