<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording paper good in ink absorbing property to enable high speed recording and realizing an image of excellent uniformity with a perfect-circle dot. <P>SOLUTION: In a glossy ink jet recording paper comprising a solvent absorbing layer having a pigment and an adhesive and an ink fixing layer having the pigment and the adhesive formed in order on a paper substrate, wherein the ink fixing layer is specular-finished, or in a glossy ink jet recording paper comprising a solvent absorbing layer having a pigment and an adhesive, an ink fixing layer having the pigment and the adhesive and a gloss developing layer formed in order on s paper substrate, wherein the gloss developing layer is specular-finished, a ternary copolymer consisting of alkyl (meth)acrylate, N-methylolacrylamide and styrene as the adhesive is contained in the solvent absorbing layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
