摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermistor element, a temperature sensor using the thermistor element, and a manufacturing method of the thermistor element wherein a temperature sensing is made possible properly by it, even under a reduction atmosphere and in the region of a high temperature exceeding 600°C, and its characteristic variation is suppressed. SOLUTION: The thermistor element 2 has a thermistor 1a comprising a thermistor composition and a reduction-resistant coating layer 1b for coating densely the thermistor 1a. The thermistor 1a has a conductivity and includes a perovskite phase 1aa whose crystal structure is a perovskite type. The coating layer 1b is made of a multiple oxide, e.g., SrAl<SB>2</SB>O<SB>4</SB>, which includes the elements constituting a perovskite phase, i.e. when representing this perovskite phase as ABO<SB>3</SB>, at least a kind of metal element selected from the metal elements positioned in the A site, e.g., Sr, and at least a kind of metal element selected from the metal elements positioned in the B site, e.g., Al.
