<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage current detector capable of improving working efficiency or safety, when installing an insulation monitoring device on distribution equipment. <P>SOLUTION: This leakage current detector 10 provided on the insulation monitoring device having a safety grounding terminal 15 has a constitution equipped with zero-phase current measuring means 3, 11 for measuring zero-phase currents I<SB>0</SB>, I in a grounding line 2 provided on a grounding phase 4b on the secondary side of a transformer 1 for low-voltage distribution; voltage measuring means 5, 12 for measuring voltages V<SB>L</SB>', V to the ground of a phase 4a to be measured which is different from the grounding phase 4b from a potential difference between the phase 4a to be measured and the safety grounding terminal 15; and a leakage current detection means 13 for detecting a leakage current I<SB>gr</SB>flowing in a ground fault resistance component r<SB>1</SB>based on a phase angle determined based on the zero-phase current I and the voltage V to the ground, and on the zero-phase current I. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
