PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voltage detecting electric outlet box for detecting abnormality of an input voltage to communicate an abnormal condition even if any of respective electric apparatuses using a commercial AC power supply has no voltage detection circuit built therein. SOLUTION: This voltage detecting electric outlet box is provided therein with a voltage detection means detecting an input voltage of an AC power supply from the exterior, a discrimination means for comparing a detected voltage with a previously stored voltage threshold, and a warning/communicating means, whereby the voltage of the commercial power supply is monitored and an abnormal condition is communicated if abnormality of the voltage is detected.
