PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental test device of an engine for a mobile vehicle capable of testing the engine without requiring a dedicated environmental laboratory having a pressure resistant and heat insulating structure. SOLUTION: The environmental test device comprises a sealable storage vessel 1 having a regulator 3 of temperature and humidity capable of storing the engine 1 as a specimen, an intake system having regulators 6 and 7 of temperature and humidity connected to an intake port 1a of air in the engine 1, an exhaust system connected to an exhaust port 1b of combustion gas in the engine 1, and a blower 17 for regulating the atmospheric pressure of the intake system and exhaust system and exhausting the combustion gas in the engine 1. Thus, the engine can be tested without requiring the dedicated environmental laboratory having a pressure resistant and heat insulating structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
