<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high capacity, high cycle characteristics, and suppressing the bulging of the battery even when the battery is stored in a charged state at high temperature by improving a negative active material and a nonaqueous electrolyte used for the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a positive electrode 11 containing a positive active material capable of storing and releasing lithium ions; a negative electrode 12 containing a negative active material capable of storing and releasing lithium ions; and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The negative active material is composed of a first material of graphite material and a second material of a composite of the graphite material, and graphite material and silicon or a silicon compound both covered with amorphous carbon material, and a cyclic carbonic acid ester derivative having a fluorine atom and a sulfur-containing compound having cyclic structure are added to the nonaqueous electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
