<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyphenylene sulfide resin which has excellent melt flowability and molding stability, with which contamination of the mold in molding scarcely occurs, and further with which a filler-reinforced resin composition with excellent toughness is obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The processing method of the polyphenylene sulfide resin is characterized in that the polyphenylene sulfide resin, with a property of its melt flow rate (measured according to ASTM D-1238-70 at 315.5°C and under load of 5,000 g) exceeding 500 g/10 min, is heat treated within a temperature range of 210°C or higher and lower than the melting point of the polyphenylene sulfide resin while allowing an inert gas with oxygen concentration of 2 vol% or less pass through the polyphenylene sulfide resin of 1g at a rate of 0.2 mL/min or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
