The present invention relates to a priority-based virtual desktop I/O control method and a virtual desktop host server, and more particularly to a priority-based I/O control method for a virtual desktop and a virtual desktop host server, which allow traffic of a virtual desktop having high priority to be preferentially processed when an excessive load is detected. The present invention relates to the priority-based virtual desktop I/O control method for a virtual desktop drive server, the method comprising the steps of: assigning virtual network interfaces to one or more virtual desktops; monitoring network usage; and preferentially processing traffic for a virtual network interface of a virtual desktop having high priority when the network usage exceeds performance of a server. The present invention also relates to a virtual desktop host server.
