The present invention relates to a display device in which touch sensors are accommodated in a display panel, and also relates to a gate drive circuit thereof. The gate drive circuit of the display device comprises a shift register. The shift register comprises a dummy stage which is connected between an n^th (n is a positive integer) stage outputting a gate pulse to a last gate line of an N^th (N is a positive integer) block and an (n+1)^th stage outputting the gate pulse to a first gate line of an (N+1)^th block. The dummy stage generates output in response to a compensation signal or a separate holding clock. The (n+1)^th stage outputs the gate pulse to the first gate line of the (N+1)^th block in response to the output of the dummy stage. According to the present invention, a Q node of a subsequent stage is charged during a touch sensing period by using the dummy stage, thereby preventing a line dim phenomenon from occurring when a display period restarts immediately after the touch sensing period. |
