[Problem] To accurately detect a distress signal from a search-and-rescue radar transponder, and to reduce the computing load required for detection thereof. [Solution] Provided is a signal-processing device for detecting a distress signal from a search-and-rescue radar transponder, the signal-processing device comprising: an instantaneous frequency change rate computation unit 21 for computing an instantaneous frequency change rate which is the rate of change of the instantaneous frequency of a complex reception signal generated from a reception signal received by a reception unit; a storage unit 22 for storing a value based on a standard frequency sweep rate which is the frequency sweep rate of a distress signal; and a distress signal determination unit 28 for comparing the instantaneous frequency change rate computed by the instantaneous frequency change rate computation unit 21 and the value based on a standard frequency sweep rate stored in the storage unit 22, and on the basis of the comparison, determining the presence or absence of a distress signal from a search-and-rescue radar transponder. |
