RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CONTROL-CHANNEL TRANSMISSION METHOD, AND RECEPTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which suppresses occurring of bit errors in received data and transmission of incorrect data while preventing interference with a signal transmitted from other sector or other base station. SOLUTION: A CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) calculation section 115 adds an error detection code to a dummy pattern for a downlink-control-channel during occurring of a radio resource that does not transmit a downlink-control-channel. A radio section 102 transmits the dummy pattern to which the error detection code is added to a mobile station 200 at a power level lower than a transmission power level during control-channel transmission. The mobile station receiving a signal from a base station 100 stops decoding of the downlink-control-channel on determining that control information indicated by a decoding result of the downlink-control-channel is not within a suitable value or on detecting an error in the error detection of the downlink-control-channel using the error detection code.
