<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine with sterilization function and a sterilization washing method by which effective sterilization is attained without taking a long period of time for heating. <P>SOLUTION: In the washing machine with sterilization function and the sterilization washing method, an outer barrel 30 and respective parts related to the outer barrel 30 are provided with pressure-resistant structures so as to make inside of the outer barrel 30 into a high-pressure and high-temperature state of ≥100°C. Thus, an article to be washed such as a medical garment etc. can be sterilized more effectively than conventional machines. Moreover, the sterilization is performed by using high-pressure and high-temperature steam, so that it is unnecessary to heat washing water for a long period of time, thereby it is possible to shorten the time needed for a sterilizing process and to save energy consumption. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
