PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gearing type engagement device capable of causing respective dog teeth to get close to a position right before starting gearing each other, without providing a device, such as a stroke sensor, for detecting a position of a dog tooth.SOLUTION: A gearing type engagement device includes reaction mechanisms 36, 38 that generate reaction to pressing force for pressing a first member 20 so that a first dog tooth 27 and a second dog tooth 33 gear with each other. The reaction mechanisms 36, 38 are constituted such that for a distance after the first member 20 starts moving, and until the respective dog teeth start gearing with each other, reaction increase tendency is changed in a direction where reaction increases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
