The method involves holding fibers (1) by a supporting body for forming an application body, where the fibers are brought into a brush-like form. A surface of the application body is formed by cutting, over-melting and grinding. The fibers forming the application body are partially pretreated by rolling process and/or punching process and/or embossing process before connecting the fibers with the supporting body such that the surface and/or cross-section of the application body is changed and/or the fibers are brought into a permanently bent, curved or longitudinally deformed condition. An independent claim is also included for an applicator for cosmetic products. |
