PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering device reducing the impact force acting on a steering transmission system when reverse input is transmitted from a steered wheel side to the steering transmission system.SOLUTION: In the vehicular steering device, in the middle of an intermediate shaft 4 forming a steering shaft 2, a transmission ratio variable device 30 is provided for adding rotation of the rotating shaft 32a of a motor 32 to rotation of a first shaft 4a on a steering wheel 1 side and transmitting the same to a second shaft 4b on a steered wheel 9 side. The transmission ratio variable device 30 is provided with a rotation angle sensor 41 for detecting the rotation angle of the rotating shaft 32a of the motor 32. Here, based on the rotation angle of the rotating shaft 32a of the motor 32 detected by the rotation angle sensor 41, reverse input torque transmitted to the steering transmission system is detected. When the reverse input torque is detected, the transmission ratio of the transmission ratio variable device 30 is set so that the angular speed of the first shaft 4a becomes slower than the angular speed of the second shaft 4b. |
