PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain versatility/flexibility enabling the same load drive device to be applied to various vehicles.SOLUTION: A load drive device comprises: a switching element for controlling flowing current in an electromagnetic load; and a flowing current detection element for detecting the flowing current. The load drive device comprises: a plurality of current detection circuits for detecting or estimating the flowing current; and a setting circuit using at least one of the plurality of current detection circuits by performing switching by settings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
