PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine having a needle bar rotating device which is simple in structure and easy to miniaturize.SOLUTION: A sewing machine including a needle bar rotating device includes: a needle bar support body 4 swingably supported about a fulcrum; an amplitude rod 6 connected to the needle bar support body 4 to transmit a driving force for swinging the needle bar support body 4; a needle bar 2 supported slidably in an axial direction and rotatably about an axis line by the needle bar support body 4 to be swingable together with the needle bar support body 4; a connecting member 9 fixed to the needle bar 2 to extend in a direction at a right angle to the needle bar 2; a guide shaft 5 extending along the needle bar 2; and a guide shaft connecting bracket 10 fitted to the connecting member 9 and also fitted to the guide shaft 5, so as to be relatively movable with respect to the connecting member 9 in an extension direction of the connecting member 9 and so as to be relatively rotatable with respect to the connecting member 9 about a virtual straight line extending in the extension direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
