PURPOSE:To save the time and the labor required to instruct the decision of a correct address, the correction of a wrong address, and the transfer of the correct address when an erroneously addresses message is received in a message exchange system by providing a file to retrieve the addressed terminal names. CONSTITUTION:If the addressed terminal name of a received message is incorrect, an address deciding function 4 transfers the message to an erroneously addressed message storing function 8 to store the message in an erroneously addressed message storing file 9. Then an erroneously addresses message occurrence informing function 10 is started to display a warning message and the contents of the erroneously addressed message on a CRT terminal 11. An operation manager 12 selects a key item out of the received message to decide the address terminal name and designates the selected key item to start an information retrieving function 13. Then the manager 12 refers to an address information table 14 to display the correct address terminal name on the CRT terminal 11. Thus the transcription processing is carried out. The table 14 also serves as a file that contains the employee names, the duties in charge, the commodities in charge, the names of customers in charge, etc., as the key items and the information on the addressed terminal names. |
