发明名称 METHOD FOR REMOVING SILICA-CONTAINING MATERIAL FROM ALUMINA-CONTAINING ORE
摘要 PURPOSE:To remove silica at high yield by dispersing an alumina-containing ore pulverized into a specific size by a specific content of all particles of the ore in a solution having a specific pH, adding a quaternary ammonium salt into the dispersion as a collector and separating the silica- containing material as a float from the sediment by flotation. CONSTITUTION:The silica-containing material is removed as the float from the sediment by flotation after dispersing the alumina-containing ore pulverized into <=50mum by 90wt.% of all particles of the ore in the solution having >=pH9 and adding the quaternary ammonium salt as the collector into the dispersion. Bauxite ore, clayey low grade bauxite ore, laterite ore, alum shale, a rock containing alum stone and leucite and the like are exemplified as the alumina containing ore to be an object as an enriched ore though it is not restricted particularly. As a result, the enriched ore high in alumina grade and concentration and collection rate after flotation is obtained.
