PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of an operator to perform chord conversion processes while inputting accompaniment by converting the chord inputted as an accompaniment pattern into a specific chord which becomes the basis of the accompaniment pattern chord conversion. CONSTITUTION:Accompaniment patterns by prescribed chords are beforehand stored in a storage means. When an arbitrary chord is specified as the accompaniment data for an automatic accompaniment, the accompaniment pattern by the prescribed chord stored in the storage means is converted into an accompaniment pattern with a pitch corresponding to an arbitrary chord and an automatic accompaniment is performed in the automatic accompaniment device. The device is provided with an input means which inputs accompaniment patterns by an arbitrary chord and a conversion means which converts the arbitrary chord inputted by the input means into a prescribed chord and converts the accompaniment by the arbitrary chord into accompaniment pattern by the prescribed chord. |
