PURPOSE: A sagger for manufacturing a positive electrode active material of lithium ion battery is provided to ensure high corrosion resistance to the diffusion of a positive raw material, good strippability, and low thermal expansion coefficient, and to improve the quality and yield of the positive electrode active material. CONSTITUTION: A sagger for manufacturing a positive electrode active material of lithium ion battery comprises spinel 30~70 mass %, cordierite 15~70 mass % and mullite 0~35 mass %, or Al2O3 component 46~68 mass %, MgO component 13~22 mass % and SiO2 component 12~36 mass %. The sagger has a thermal expansion coefficient of 0.5 % or less. |
