PURPOSE:To enable a high efficient operation to be carried out without producing any unevaporated refrigerant in an evaporator even when the amount of air blowing into a room is reduced. CONSTITUTION:An evaporator 10 is installed between an air suction duct 4 and an air blowing duct 3 for passing indoor air thereat. A regenerator 12 is heated by a burner 13 and water in solvent is separated from diluted solution. A control means (CPU) gets the output of an air blowing fan 11 based on a set temperature and the indoor temperature obtained by a sensor T1, calculates the evaporating amount in a regenerator 12 in correspondence with this output, calculates the mount of combustion at a burner 13 adapted for this evaporating amount and controls fuel. Accordingly, no excessive refrigerant is supplied to the evaporator 10 and then a high efficient operation can be ensured.
