Compsn. comprises: (a) insecticide of formula (I); (b) crystallisation inhibitor such that 0.3 ml of 10% w/v soln. of (I) in solvent as defined under (c) left on glass plate at 20 deg C for 24 hrs. shows < 10 crystals; (c) organic solvent having dielectric constant of 10-35; (d) co-solvent having b. pt. of < 100 deg C and dielectric constant of 10-40. In (I), R1 = halo, CN or Me; R2 = e.g. 4,5-dicyanoimidazol-2-yl or haloalkyl; R4 = e.g. H, halo, NR5R6, C(O)OR7, (halo)alkyl etc.; R5, R6 = e.g. H, (halo)alkyl, acyl etc.; or R5+R6 = divalent alkylene opt. interrupted by 1 or 2 heteroatoms; R7 = alkyl or haloalkyl; R8 = H, alkyl or haloalkyl; Y = halo, haloalkyl, haloalkoxy or SF5; with possibilities that Y may be other substits. when in positions 2 and 6 of phenyl ring; and p = 1-5 with provisos. |
